Kavon Campbell

Kavon Campbell, 20, passed away, Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after services. Memorials may be made to the family for his daughter. 

Kavon was born on April 10, 2004 in Davenport, son of Corey Lopez and Jacqueline Rogers. 

He was a kind and loving soul who would give you the shirt off of his back. Above all he loved his children. 

Those left to honor his memory include his parents; daughter Keh'Leah Zanae Campbell Muhammad; bonus daughter Keh'Lani Zora Muhammad; two more children on the way; siblings D’Antonis Fair, Tayler Lopez, Corrina Lopez, Tayvion Lopez, Kameron Wamer, Kajohnique Wamer, Dayshia Hall, Jaliyah Davis, Corey Lopez, Jr., Analeha Lopez, Kendrick Lopez, David (Kristin) Craft, Christopher Andre, Lashell (Robert) Little, Cierra Kopf, Mikquez Coleman, Phoenix Lopez, Malaysia Collier Jones, Elijah Lopez, DeShante Clegg, Maya Lopez and Torie Anderson; maternal grandmother Patti Rogers; maternal grandfather Raymond Campbell, Jr.; uncles Anthony Campbell, Raymond Campbell III, James (Tina) Gay and Billy Joe Lopez; aunts Raeshell (Demetre) Thomas, Theresa Lopez and Tina Parks; special friends Christasia Mcafee, Nadirah Muhammad, Malaysia Whitelow and Kameryn Kelly, best friend Cameron Meredith; special cousins, Christian Smith, Augustus and Jazmine Sullivan and Shaelynn Campbell; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George William Hornbeak, paternal grandmother Margaret Lopez, maternal great grandfather Raymond Campbell, Sr., maternal great grandmother Virginia Rose Dilworth, maternal great grandmother Patsy Ann Rogers, maternal great grandfather Robert Lane Rogers, Sr., and step grandfather Steven Holifield.
