Karen S. Kain - Wiederkehr

Karen Kain-Wiederkehr, 57, of Bettendorf, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Aspire of Pleasant Valley. The rite of cremation has been accorded and services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. The family will receive friends from 10:30am until time of services Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family.

Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family.

Karen Sue Kain was born October 1, 1966, a daughter of James and Barbara “Bobbie” (Weese) Kain. She graduated from Davenport Central High School, class of 1984.

She enjoyed doing crafts and watching golf.

Survivors include her son Michael Kain; brother David (Kay Moore) Ehlers; sister Tammi Ehlers, all of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father James Kain and mother Bobbie Dierickx.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff at Aspire of Pleasant Valley and St. Croix Hospice for taking care of Karen.
