Kadie L. Buechel

Kadie Buechel, 31, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2024, at MercyOne Genesis, Davenport. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 2-4pm on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to Fosters Voice.

Kadie Lynn Setser was born May 17, 1993, in Moline, the only daughter of Ricky and Regan (Seefieldt) Setser. She was united in marriage to Michael Buechel on July 17, 2012, in Davenport.

Kadie had been a CNA for several companies and worked hard to help support her family, often working two or three jobs. She loved her children and animals.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Mike and their children Makenzi and Carter; parents Ricky and Regan Setser; brothers Brandon (Chyna) Setser, Nicholas (Tamra) Blum; niece Adalynn Setser; nephew Caleb MaKenzie; father-in-law Thomas Buechel; and brother-in-law Mark Buechel, all of Davenport.

 She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wayne and Vickie Seefieldt, and mother-in-law Christina Buechel.
