Judy K. Johnson

Judy K. Johnson, 69, of Davenport, formerly of Arizona, died Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Genesis East, Davenport surrounded by family.  Private services have taken place with burial at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix at a later date.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Judy K. DePover was born on June 19, 1953 in Davenport, a daughter of Jeraldine L. “Jerry” (Hamn) Engvall.  She graduated from Central High School.  Judy was united in marriage to David Arthur Johnson, Sr. on May 24, 1973.  He preceded her in death on April 20, 2009.

Judy worked for many years in accounting for a property management company in Arizona.

Judy enjoyed bowling, and was part of several leagues throughout her life.  She also enjoyed reading and watching Netflix, especially pet shows, and was a self-proclaimed “dog whisperer.”

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Corrie (Chad) Rauch, Davenport, David (Tara McCaw) Johnson II, Little Falls, New York, and Paul Johnson, Arizona; grandchildren: Nathan (Jenna), Paige (Dory), Hope, Haley, David III, Christian, Aubrielle, Everleigh, and Jenny; great-grandchildren: Jaxon and Jade; siblings: Jackie Trout, Davenport, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, a sister, Sandra Russell, and a nephew, Brad Russell.
