Joye "Joyce" Shipley

Joye (Joyce) Elaine Shipley, 75, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

 Per her wishes cremation rights have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.  

 Joye was born on March 16, 1949 in Promise City, Iowa to Doyle and Elsie (Culver) Radcliff.

 Joye enjoyed knitting, beadwork and other various crafts.  She liked spending time gardening and caring for her houseplants.   She was a very proud truckdriver and donut maker.  Above all she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.  

 Those left to honor her memory include her children, Buffie (Chuck) Wilcox, Linda (Rodney) Gaither, Beth (Brian) Brauchler and Larry (Kim) Dhooge, Jr.; grandchildren Michael, Anthony, Carrie, Skyler, Dalton, Klarissa, Thomas, Christopher and Savana; great grandchildren Everette, Emerson, Lilly, Tristan, Kayden, Brooks, Killian and Ezra; and brothers David (Carol) Radcliff, Everett (Marlene) Radcliff, Gale (Olivia) Radcliff and Steve (Darlene) Radcliff.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband Don Shipley.
