Joyce M. Giammetta

Joyce Mary Giammetta (Imming) 12/24/28-10/31/23.

Our beloved mother went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning October 31st. We like to believe our brother Michael, who passed away three years ago on the very same day, came down from heaven to wrap mom in his loving arms to take her to greet Jesus himself. What a glorious reunion that had to be. She died peacefully in her sleep at Clarissa Cook where they took amazing care of her in her final few days. We can’t thank them enough for the gentle loving care they provided mom and family in our time of sadness and grief. We also would like to extend our thanks to Comfort Keepers for their amazing care in the time prior to that.

Mom lived a long, great life. Joyce is survived by her children: Tom (Pat) Steinbrecher, Michele (Steve) Heskett, Cheri (Ken) Wallerich, and Gina (Brian) Bubon. Grandchildren: Brandon (Hilleri) Steinbrecher, Kyle Steinbrecher, Nicole (Brandon) Dickenson-Smith, Tony Bubon, Madysen (Andrew) Boots, and Sydney Heskett, Great Grand Children: Baileigh, Brinley and Berkli Steinbrecher, “Baby girl due in November” Dickenson-Smith, Elijah, Maislyn and “Baby girl due in February” Boots. Her sister Mitzi, Several nieces and nephews and her Loyal and caring neighbors of 30 years Vicky and Al.

Joyce was preceded in death by a granddaughter, her parents, her brothers, and her son.

Per her wishes there will be no viewing or funeral services and cremation rites will be accorded.
