Joy Ann Andrews

Joy Andrews of Davenport passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the service.  Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Halligan-McCabe-De Vries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Joy was born on February 27, 1936 in Davenport to Conrad and Dorothy Andrews.  Joy graduated from Davenport High School and attended Marycrest College.  Joy worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone 

Company and later AT&T for over thirty years retiring in 1993. During her career she worked in Portland Oregon, Council Bluffs, Mason City, Des Moines, and Davenport as manager of operator services.  

After retirement, Joy worked at CASI where she participated in the Listen to Me Read Program in local schools. Joy was a member of the 21 Club and led a Red Hat Society group.  Joy enjoyed music and dancing.
