John Harold Kehoe, 62, of Princeton, IA died at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, of heart related issues. The rite of cremation was accorded, and inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorial services to celebrate his life will begin with visitation from 3-4pm on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, and will conclude with a Time of Sharing starting at 4pm.
John was born June 7, 1960, the fifth of seven children raised by Dorrance “Doc” and Guenn (Dunsmore) Kehoe in Iowa City.
John attended Regina High School and then worked in the construction industry for many years in eastern Iowa. John was a lifelong builder and was always knees deep in various projects.
He was united in marriage to Kimberly Sue Woods on June 1, 1991, in Davenport and although they later separated they remained friends.
In his spare time, he enjoyed swimming, fishing, going to the Blues Fest, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son and rock, Colton and siblings Eugene, Theresa (Bobby Bailey), Ginny Kehoe-Buzas (Paul Buzas), Donna Shank, Kathy Collins (Mark), and Colleen as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
John now joins his beloved daughter, Dallas Kehoe as well as his parents, nephew Seth Kehoe and brother-in-law Bob Shank who all preceded him in death.
