Jessica Mendez

Jessica Lee Mendez, 69, a resident of Davenport, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme in Davenport.

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Davenport. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Davenport. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18 ^th at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jessica was born November 6, 1951 in Davenport, the daughter of Jesse Joseph Carrillo, Sr. and Dolores L. Garcia.

Jessica loved watching television, including The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, black and white movies, going to the casino, and playing bingo. She cherished her time spent with nieces and nephews.

Those left to honor her memory include her siblings, Elizabeth (Bob) Peck of Montpelier, Iowa, Joyce (Douglas Berg) Andersen of Davenport, and Daniel Carrillo of Davenport; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jesse Joseph Carrillo, Jr.
