Jeffrey Cook

Jeffrey Dean Cook, 56, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at home.

Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded.   Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund for his grandchildren. 

 Jeffrey was born on April 5, 1967 in Davenport, the son of Cecile “Toby” and Karen (Schurke) Cook.  

 Jeffrey loved old westerns and the Green Bay Packers.  He was known for taking care of his family and being the protector.  He found joy in peaceful moments by the river.   Above all he loved his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.

 Those left to honor his memory include his daughter Kellsey (Brady Van Hove) Foor; grandchildren Abilyn and Braxtyn; mother Karen Tague; sisters Amy (Kevin) Walk and Kathy Cook; nephews Tyler, Aaron, Kyle and Brandon; niece Amanda; aunt Margaret Taylor,; brother in law Brian Webb and best friend Keith.

 He was preceded in death by his father, brother Jason Cook , sister Mindy Webb niece and nephew  Sarah and Todd Coble.
