Janet Faye Jenkins

Janet Faye Jenkins, 66, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her home.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

 Janet was born on October 22, 1958 in Missouri, daughter of Paul and Olivia (McBride) Howard.

 Janet enjoyed fishing and a cold Budweiser. Her home was the place to visit when you wanted to have a good time. She had no filter and would tell you like it was. She was always arranging the furniture in her living room. She enjoyed spending time at Wilma’s/KP Hall and the Happy Hollow with her sisters. Above all else she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and cherished the moments she spent with them. She will be deeply missed. 

 Those left to honor her memory include her children, Victor Howard, Sr., Bobbie Howard, Charles Tatum, Caprice Buford, Darnae Howard, Walter Howard, Lawanda Jenkins, Phylicia Jenkins, Jasman Jenkins, Deambra Garth Brown and Shadiamond Miller; 59 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her siblings.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, children Olivia and Bryan, and her boyfriend Roosevelt.
