Jamie R. Peck

Jamie Renea Peck, 46, of Hiawatha, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids.  A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The funeral livestream may be viewed, and online remembrances expressed at www.hmdfuneralhome.com. The rite of cremation will follow.  The family will receive friends from Noon until time of services on Friday and sports attire is encouraged.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mechelle Peck and will be forwarded to Rocky’s K-9 Services.

Jamie was born January 9, 1977, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Honts) Peck.  She was united in marriage to Mechelle Woolison on April, 7, 2018 in Eldridge, IA.

Jamie was the assistant manager for Ashley Furniture in Coralville, IA.

She loved to fish, travel, and had a sarcastic sense of humor that will be deeply missed.  She was fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Cubs, and Iowa Hawkeyes. 

Survivors include her wife Mechelle Peck; mother Shirley (Jack) Wilson of LeClaire; father Robert (Elizabeth) Peck of Montpelier, IA; brother Douglas Peck of Berkley, CA;  stepsiblings Brad (Kathleen) Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA, Amy (Brad) Zschiesche of Tiffin, IA, Angie Wilson of Blue Grass, David, Thomas, and Amanda Alatorre all of Davenport; “sister” Rocky Wallesch of Milan; father and mother-in-law Terry and Denise Woolison of Eldridge; sisters-in-law Amanda Woolison of Davenport, Sunshine (Jeff) Ramsey of Silvis; brother-in-law Kayden Woolison of Davenport; nephew and niece Carter and Bella Ramsey; and many dear friends aka “the gang”.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Catherine Honts and Robert and Jeanette Peck.
