Ida Mae Rodgers

Ida Mae Rodgers, 75, of Davenport, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at Hope Creek, East Moline. Private graveside services will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Ida Mae Dunn was born August 29, 1948, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Charles and Wanda (Claxton) Dunn.  She was united in marriage to Don Rodgers in 1969.

Prior to her retirement, Ida had owned her own beauty salon and cleaning business.

She enjoyed going to church at Bethel Assembly of God in Rock Island, volunteering at the former Winnie’s Wishes in Davenport, and being around people.

Survivors include her husband, Don; daughters Pamela Rodgers and Christina Shaw; and long time friend Ken Lucas of Davenport.
