Heidi Adele Cruson

Heidi Adele Cruson, age 68, of Bettendorf, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 unexpectedly at her home. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until service time.

Heidi was born on December 21, 1953 in Davenport to James and Nadine (Hanssen) Ryan. She graduated from Bettendorf High School where she excelled in tennis. She was united in marriage to Mike Cruson who preceded her in death on December 6, 1997. Heidi was a caring person and was a home caregiver for most of her life. She was an avid swimmer and was a member of the YMCA. She was creative person and enjoyed many kinds of crafts. She also loved her plants and her dogs, Buddy and Fifi. She also attended Freedom Christian Center and its Bible Study.

She is survived by her siblings, John Marron, Patrick Ryan, Darcey Liljequist, Zachary Kim Ryan, Megan Welch, Duffy Ryan, and Brendon Ryan; forever friends of 21 years, Gary Welch, and close friend, David Courtney; Brother and sister-in-law, Charles Cruson and Debbie Cruson; many nieces and nephews including, Kari, Matt, Quintcy, Brock, and Corey.

In addition to her parents and husband, Heidi was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Davis; a beloved grandmother, Della Bauer; and a dear friend, Prosper Miller.
