Gwendolyn "Yvette" Lee

Gwendolyn “Yvette” Lee, 63, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at UnityPoint-Trinity in Rock Island. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family. The rite of cremation has been accorded and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials maybe made to the family.

Yvette was born September 13, 1961, in Chicago, a daughter of Trudie Lee Doles.

She had a bold spirit, was stubborn but loving, and was a great cook.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Dawn Lobley of Rock Island, Robyn Lobley of Moline, Raven Walker of Rock Island; son Kevin Walker of New Jersey; stepdaughter Turkessa Newsone; stepson David Madden Jr; grandchildren Dayvion Henry, Justin Lobley, Dayjanique Lee, Ovie Cole, Zion McDuffy, Zariya Reed, Daybreon Lee, Dayqwan Lee, Ayden Walker, Tommie Hare Jr, T’Keyah Loggins, Marissa Loggins, eDereka Newsone, Heaven Lee; great grandchildren Daysier Muscovalley, Dayviontae Lee Davis, Nilah Henry; siblings Michael Burch of Davenport, William Lee of Davenport, Anthony Lee of California, Alan Lee of Rock Island, David Lee of Rock Island; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, granddaughter Dayona Cierra Yvette Lee, and sisters Quida Lee, Janice Lee, and Tania Smith.
