GiGi McCullough

Funeral Services for GiGi McCullough, 59, a resident of Davenport, will be 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the All Faith Chapel at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport.  Pastor Phil Leipold will be the celebrant of the service.  The family will greet friends Thursday from noon until service time.  Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

GiGi died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her home following an extended illness and complications of Diabetes.

Linda Sue Jones was born September 22, 1959 in Burlington, Iowa, a daughter of Ralph William and Geraldine Laura (Yates) Jones.

She was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” McCullough February 27, 2011 in Davenport.  Although they’ve only been married 8 years, they have been together since 1991.

GiGi worked for area nursing homes as a dietician and cook.  She enjoyed being in the kitchen but her true passion was feeding the souls of those whose path she came across.  She loved playing Bingo, especially online, and spending time with her family.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Those left to honor GiGi’s memory include her husband, Chuck, a sister, Lissa Lindo, Davenport; nieces and nephews, Sterlin Hale, Stone Hale, Brandie (Ted) Burgess, Stephen Lindo, and Nick and Dustin Gurensey; and her fur babies, Sassy and Dino.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Cindy Gurensey.
