Gary Wildasin

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Gary R. Wildasin, 80, of Davenport, will be 1pm, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 12:30pm until time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Mr. Wildasin passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Hein Manor, Durant, Iowa.

Gary Russell Wildasin was born December 15, 1940 in Muscatine, the son of Raymond and Delores (Shaffer) Wildasin.  He graduated from Tipton (Iowa) High School, Class of 1959 and then attended St. Ambrose College, Davenport.  He was united in marriage to Eleanor Bane on October 10, 1984.  She preceded him in death on May 6, 2012.

Gary was a printer and linotype operator before his retirement in 2002.

Survivors include his sister Marcy (Jeff) Dietz of Davenport; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Eleanor, he was preceded in death by his parents.
