Forrest Zentic

Forrest F. Zentic, 83, of Davenport, died Monday, March 11, 2019 surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Forrest was born August 20, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Frank and Florence (Johnson) Zentic. He was a sheet metal worker at The Schebler Company for 42 years.

Forrest enjoyed golfing, singing, spending time with granddaughter Madison, and fishing.  He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Pam (Matt) Crum of Washington, Illinois, Leann Mesmer of Moline, Donna (Ben) Stohl of Illinois, Terry Zentic of Davenport, and Timothy (Angie) Zentic of Davenport; eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; siblings, LeRoy Zentic, Donna Parsons, and Arden Zentic; and a special friend, Shirley Bell of Bettendorf.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
