Florence Beaulieu

Memorial services celebrating the life of Florence A. “Toni” Beaulieu, 81, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ms. Beaulieu passed away October 10, 2021 at Illini Restorative Care in Silvis, Illinois.

Florence Antonia Ortega was born November 7, 1939 in Topeka, KS, a daughter of Pedro and Pauline (Rodriguez) Ortega.  She was united in marriage to Gerald Beaulieu at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf.

Toni retired from Burke Cleaners. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, going for walks, cooking for her family, going to church, watching soap operas, reading books and the newspaper. She cherished her time spent with her great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Sherry Beaulieu, East Moline and Brea Beaulieu, Kewanee, IL; grandson, Chas (Breanna) Beaulieu, Rock Island; great grandchildren, Isabella and Barrett Beaulieu, Rock Island; brother, John (Sandi) Ortega, Bettendorf; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas; eleven brothers and sisters.
