Ella Hines

Ella L. Hines, 82, a resident of Davenport, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme, surrounded by her family.  Per her wishes, the rite of cremation was accorded.  There will be no services. Private inurnment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport, at a later date.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family.

Ella L. Garrow was born March 9, 1939 in Davenport, a daughter of William L. and Leona (Rich) Garrow.  She married Paul Hines.  He preceded her in death August 25, 1965.

Ella was a member of the West Side Assembly of God Church.  She worked as a daycare provider.  She enjoyed fishing

Those left to honor Ella’s memory include her siblings:  Joseph Garrow; Jerry Garrow, Davenport; Donna Garrow, Centerville; Wanda Heim, Davenport, nephew, Raymond Heim, Davenport, a niece, Pam Garnica, Davenport and a special great-niece who cared for her in her final days, Joleen Garnica.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul.
