Eileen Theresa McCullough was born in Belfast, Ireland on July 29, 1934 to Bridget (Magee) and William McCullough. Her aunt, Georgina lived with the family and helped raise Eileen. She has a brother who she adored, Paul McCullough who is living in Dublin.  Eileen enjoyed playing tennis while growing up in Belfast. Her backyard was the cricket field and tennis courts and she worked at the Belfast bakery from age 14 to 18.

Eileen met Bill Schilling, who was serving in the Navy, at the Plaza Dancehall.  Bill’s Navy ship would visit Belfast often. Eileen moved with him to the United States at age 18. Together they had three children, Paul Schilling, Brian Schilling, and Erin Schilling Bush (Bill Bush); seven grandchildren: Kylie Schilling, Maggie Schilling, Thomas Bush, Bridget Lenz, Elizabeth Bush, Megan Bush, Shannon Bush and six great-grandchildren.

Eileen worked for Younkers department store for 30 years.  She enjoyed knitting and was a very talented cook/baker and her children were the center of her life.

She was treated so kindly by the CNA’s and nurses at the Kahl Home and they made her feel very loved and cared for. The Schilling family is very grateful to them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Paul.
