Edwin W. Anderson

Edwin W. Anderson, 86, a resident of Davenport, died Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his home.

Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ed was born March 18, 1936 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Arthur and Katie Anderson. He served his country in the United States Army from 1962 - 1964. Ed married Janis Bolte, January 4, 1972 in Carthage, Illinois. Ed was an over the road semi-truck driver, driving first for Truck Transport and later retiring from Long Trucking in Mediapolis, Iowa.

Ed enjoyed puzzle books, playing solitaire, fishing, bowling, and watching westerns.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Janis; daughters, Tracee (Todd) Guzman of Ft. Madison, Iowa, Tami Anderson, and Treena Anderson, both of Davenport; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Shirley Dunlap and Evelyn Maul.
