Donna Mae Harvey

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Donna M. Harvey, 77, of Maysville, will be held at 10am on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 N. Division St, Davenport.  Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-5pm Sunday at the church and additionally from 9am until time of services Monday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Mrs. Harvey passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Genesis East, Davenport.

Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family.

Donna Mae Engler was born May 4, 1945, in Davenport, a daughter of Rudolph “Rudy” and Mary Elizabeth (Ferris) Engler.  She was united in marriage to Duane Harvey on January 26, 1963, in Davenport.

Prior to her retirement she had operated a cleaning service for many years and was grateful for the opportunities given to her by her clients, especially Paul Meyer Chemical.

Donna loved to work and never sat still.  She loved her roosters, teapots, watching “Days of Our Lives” and listening to Elvis Presley.  She thought the world of her grandkids and was especially close to Brandon.

 Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Duane; son Mike (Karla) Harvey of Maysville; daughter-in-law Pamela Harvey of Wheatland; grandchildren Brandon (Maria) Harvey of Donahue, Jacob Olson of Iowa City, Addison Olson of Eldridge, Seth Kruckenberg of Grand Mound, Olivia Anderson of Omaha, NE, Lily Harvey of Wheatland; great grandchildren Hugh, Leo, Rider, Sailor; brothers Steve (Madonna) Engler of Bettendorf, and Dave (Marilyn) Engler of Davenport; and sister-in-law Nancy Engler of Walcott.

She was preceded in death by her son Brian, parents, sister Sharon “Chick” Holdorf, and brother Mike Engler.
