Dennis Schmitt

Dennis William Schmitt, age 71, of Milan, passed away on January 11, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus. According to his wishes, cremation will take place with no services scheduled at this time. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.

 Dennis was born on February 10, 1952, in Davenport to Richard and Darlene (Bulens) Schmitt. Dennis operated the Open Door Tap in Davenport, and also worked for Oscar Mayer for many years.

 Survivors include his sister, Deborah (Harold) Foster of Danville, IA, and nieces and nephews.
