Debra Burkett

Debra S. Burkett, 65, of Davenport, died Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Genesis East, Davenport.  Keeping with her wishes, cremation rites have taken place with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Debbie was born on March 6, 1959 in Muscatine, a daughter of Gloria (Marquardt) and John Coulter, Sr.   Debbie was a CNA and an in home caregiver for over 20 years.  She married Wayne Burkett on July 3, 1996 in Davenport. 

She enjoyed “occasional” trips to the casino and watching tv, especially soap operas.  

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; sister-in-law, Vicki Coulter, nieces Sheri Coulter, Teresa Coulter, and Rachelle Castillo, and a nephew, Robert (Jesus) Garcia-Saavedra.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Jack Coulter, Gerri Coulter, Sandra Bowen, and John Coulter, Jr.
