David M. Cullett, Sr.

David M. Cullett Sr, 66, of DeWitt, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his home. Per his request cremation will be accorded. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family. A celebration of life luncheon will be held April 6th at 1 p.m. at Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, IA.

David Michael Cullett was born March 3, 1959, in Okinawa, Japan, a son of George F. “Sonny” and Beverly A. (Skyles) Cullett.

Prior to his retirement he had worked for several businesses over the years, most recently at Bawden Printing.

He loved to go fishing and watch sports, especially NASCAR, baseball, and football. He was a fan of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr, and a long-suffering fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He especially was proud of his grandchildren and loved hearing about them.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter Amber (Jeff) Klinkenberg of DeWitt; sons David Cullet Jr of DeWitt, Jacob (Jayme) Cullett of Longview, WA; grandchildren Austin Klinkenberg (Carli), Terra Klinkenberg, Ella Klinkenberg, Jack Klinkenberg; great grandsons Finnegan, Jonah, & Warren; sister Kerry (Gary) Ernzen of Epworth, IA; brothers John (Bridget) Cullett of Greenview, IL, Gerald (Troudy) Cullett of Moline Il, and George (Tammy) Cullett of Thibodaux, LA.

He was preceded in death by his son Jonah, infant sister Debra Cullett, and parents.
