Dallas H. Agan, 79, a resident of rural Blue Grass, died Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme in Davenport, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Buffalo. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dallas was born March 22, 1943 in Appanoose County, Iowa the son of Homer and Edith (Miller) Agan. He married Louise Johnson, March 17, 1962 in Centerville, Iowa.
Dallas enjoyed doing anything outdoors and he could build anything with his hands. He was a man with many talents and was loved by all who knew him. Dallas worked as a CNC operator for International Harvester, and later Navistar, for 30 years.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Louise; children, Deidra Roe (Norm), Ronda McCreight, Lisa (Jack) Ineichen and Robert (Angie) Agan; grandchildren, Ryan McCreight, Curtis Roe, Nicole Agan, Zachary Taylor, Tyler McCreight, Clint Roe, Kelsey McCreight, Kyle Agan, Megan Taylor, Dylan Agan, and Caitlyn McCreight; seventeen great-grandchildren; siblings, Wendall Agan, Russell Agan, Marilyn Bourland, Maritta Gill, Danny Agan, Duane Agan, Mike Agan, Olan Agan, Linda Brown, and Sheila Campbell-Malone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford, Carl, and Neal Agan; and son-in-law, George Roe.
