Funeral services to celebrate the life of Colleen L. Johnson, 74, a resident of Bettendorf, will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 N. Main Street, Davenport. Burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 until 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, Bettendorf.

Colleen passed away unexpectedly November 6, 2021.

Colleen Lynn Duffy was born February 14, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Robert T. and Virginia A. (Schneider) Duffy. She was united in marriage to William R. Johnson on September 4, 1965 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport. They have shared over 57 years of marriage and memories together.

Colleen adored her family; she cherished being a mother and “Nana” to her granddaughters. She enjoyed traveling especially to warmer climates such as Hawaii. Colleen also loved traveling to many areas in Western Europe, especially Ireland where she was enriched with her Irish heritage. Colleen also enjoyed playing bridge, baking, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; children and their spouses Todd and Lori Johnson, all of Bettendorf and Barbara (John) Lindell, Greenfield, Minnesota; granddaughters: Sydney and Kailey Johnson; a sister, Julie (Chris) Zubroski, Bettendorf; a sister-in-law Barbara Polios, Sarasota, Florida, nephew Dennis (Heather) Colclasure, Eldridge, and a niece, Julie Polios, Marietta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dennis Duffy, and a nephew Michael Polios.
