Cleotha Young Jr., 35, passed away on February 11th, 2023, in Chicago, IL. He was born on May 2nd, 1987, in Davenport, Iowa, to parents Cleo Young Sr. and Maxine Kirk.
Cleo was known for his loving heart, generous ways, his love for cars, and "stuntin' on them 30s". When he was not providing for his family, he loved to lift weights with his friends and rebuild his cars. Cleo was a determined and motivated person. Anything he said he wanted to do, he accomplished. One of his most significant accomplishments was obtaining his CDL certificate to become a licensed truck driver. He was then employed with CPC Logistics until he parted this earth.
Survivors include his wife, Jalissa March, and his children, Clevaun Young, Clevontae Young, Ca'liyah Young, Cleotha Young III, and Ca'lise Young, all of Davenport, IA; his siblings James (Addie) McIntyre of Abbeville, Mississippi, Eldonte Kirk, Jariko Young, and Cleunia Young, all of Davenport, IA, Princess Okeke of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; his parents, Cleo, Sr., and Maxine; his bonus mother, Geraldean March, all of Davenport, IA. Cleo also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins who all loved him dearly.
Cleo is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nannie Bell Young and Floyd Young of Abbeville, Mississippi; maternal grandparents, Louise Needham-Kirk of Preston, Mississippi, and James Sherrod of Omaha, Nebraska.
