Chunfeng Guan

Chunfeng Guan, age 83, of Bettendorf, passed away on May 5, 2024, at her home. Services will be private at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home.

关春凤，83 岁，家住贝藤多夫，于2024年5月5日在家里去世。私人葬礼将在Halligan-McCabe-DeVries 殡仪馆举行。

Chunfeng was born on March 7, 1941, in Dalian, China to Yongju Guan and Dangzhi Wu. She was the only daughter in the family of eight children and worked very hard as a young girl taking care of her younger brothers.

1941年3月7日，春凤出生于中国大连，满族。父亲关永绩，母亲吴当芝。春凤排行老二，是家里唯一的女儿。她有一位兄长，六位弟弟。很小的时候，她就开始帮助母亲做家务，照顾年幼的弟弟们。

Being from a farmer family made it hard for her to get into college, however with hard work she obtained a BA in mechanical engineering at Dalian railroad college, and started to work at Chendu railway company in 1962.

春凤生活在一个普通农民家庭，对她来说求学之路非常艰难。经过不懈的努力和命运的眷顾，春凤考入大连铁道学院，1962年毕业分配到成都机车车辆厂，成为一名机械工程师。

She married Qingfu Guan in 1967 in China. He was a geologist and would need to be away from home for work for weeks at a time, but Chunfeng took care of her family while still working full time. She was very disciplined, a perfectionist, a loving and protective mother. She loved knitting sweaters and reading.

1967年，春凤和关庆福在中国大连结婚，几年后她调到雅砻江畔庆福所在的地质队工作。庆福经常出野外工作，春凤全职工作的同时照顾三个孩子。她非常自律，是个完美主义者。她是最好的母亲，教育而且爱护自己的孩子们。她喜欢编织毛衣, 阅读文学书籍。

Survivors include her husband, Qingfu; children, Hui Guan, Yun Guan, and Xiaolei Guan; 6 grandchildren; and brothers, Yunguo Guan, Yunbao Guan, Yuntian Guan, Yunquan Guan, and Yunzhong Guan.

春凤健在的亲人包括她的丈夫关庆福，女儿关晖，关昀，儿子关晓磊；六个孙辈孩子 - 壮，威，心怡，家瑞，昭兮，晏兮；弟云国，云宝，云田，云全，云忠。

In addition to her parents, Chunfeng was preceded in death by brothers, Yunlin Guan and Yunnian Guan.

她的父母，兄云林，弟云年已去世。
