Christian Allen Wagner

Christian Allen Wagner, 39, of Cascade, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022 as the result of a house fire in Cascade.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the family.

Christian was born December 27, 1982 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Bruce and Lisa (Campbell) Wagner.

Christian worked at Beck Construction in Cascade. Christian loved fishing, camping, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. He cherished his time spent with his family, especially his children. Christian was a man with a big heart and a strong work ethic.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Annabell Wagner and Taylor Bell; son, Paxten Lewis (adopted parents, Marc and Wendy Lewis); parents, Bruce Wagner and Lisa Wagner, both of Davenport; siblings, Daniel Wagner of Davenport, Ian (Maria Serrano) Lopez of Maquoketa, and Nicole (Kain Hardin) Lopez of Cascade, Iowa; grandson, Maurice Wagner; step-father, Rick Lopez; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Edna Wagner, Joe and Shirley Campbell; uncle, Randy Campbell; niece, Alyvianna Castaneda; and cousin, Joey McLaughlin.
