Charlotte Cluff

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Charlotte H. Cluff, 100, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 916 E. Rusholme Street, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Charlotte passed away at Bickford Cottage, Davenport, on Monday, February 19, 2018.

Charlotte Helen Jacobs was born in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Charles and Mary (Flesch) Jacobs. She married James Cluff July 1, 1944 in California. He preceded her in death September 23, 2013.

She was a long time member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and the National TTT Society – Iowa Chapter AF. Charlotte especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle School or the National TTT Society Project Fund.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James M. “Mike” and Gretchen Cluff, Davenport; grandchildren, Benjamin M. Cluff, Davenport, and Ellen (Tyler) Roux, Moline; great-grandchildren, Logan, Anna and Leo.

She was preceded in death by parents and Jim, her husband of over 69 years. May they rest in peace.
