Charles Swearinger

Charles E. Swearinger, 56, a resident of Davenport, passed away Thursday, December 03, 2020 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme.  Per his wish, the rite of cremation will be accorded and there will be no services at this time.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Charles Eugene Swearinger was born October 1, 1964 in Carlinville, Illinois, a son of Richard Lee and Carol (Sumpter) Swearinger.  He retired from Wal-Mart, where he had worked in the maintenance department.

Chuck enjoyed cats, drawing, trains, cars, and collecting model cars.

Those left to honor Chuck’s memory include his siblings:  Cindy (Steve) Lowder, Davenport, Christina Swearinger, and Andy (Abby) Hutson.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
