Charles L. LeShoure

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Charles L. LeShoure, 67, of Davenport, will be 12 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Charles died Tuesday, February 14, 2024 at Genesis East, Davenport.

Charles Lee LeShoure was born on November 29, 1956 in Holly Springs, Mississippi, a son of M.L. and Roberta (Davis) LeShoure. He married LaVern Johnson in 1975, they later separated and remained friends.

Charles worked as a maintenance supervisor at Project N.O.W. for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars and talking "smack".

He is survived by his children: Toshia (KenShanna) LeShoure, Rock Island, Charles (Aneisa Pettigrew) LeShoure, Davenport, Genisha Holman, Memphis Tennessee; grandsons: Amos Johnson, Zakai LeShoure, Jevantez Allen, Jauntae Allen; granddaughters: Arriaja Johnson, Camari LeShoure, Namiah LeShoure, and Nihyeva Henderson, former wife, LaVern LeShoure, Davenport, and brothers: Herbet LeShoure and Billy LeShoure and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Shirley LeShoure, Gloria McKnight, Roberta Wright, Debra LeShoure-Wright, Raymond LeShoure, Barbara Jean LeShoure, Robert LeSure,  Lewis LeShoure, Clara LeShoure, Ruthie LeShoure.
