Carolyn Sue Treanton

 Carolyn Sue Treanton, 80, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Harmony Utica Ridge.

 A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:30 am – 1:30 am, Saturday, December 28th at the Bettendorf Community Center. 

 Carolyn was born on July 14, 1944 in Rock Island, daughter of Harvey and Mary (Smith) Brandon. 

 Carolyn was a huge Elvis Presley and Lorretta Lynn fan. She was a collector of porcelain dolls and teddy bears. She enjoyed puzzles, coloring, cleaning and making fudge. Christmas was her favorite time of year, when all of the family is able to get together. Above all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and cherished the moments spent with them. She will be deeply missed.

 Those left to honor her memory include her children Beverly (Roger) Leibold and Thomas Bibby; grandchildren Alyse Foust, Cassie (Jeremy) Reyes, Thomas Bibby, III, Ernest Foust and Michael Bibby; great grandchildren Aiden, Maggie, Alva, Teddy, Analiza, Estella, William, Alex, Lillian and Aria; siblings Harvey (Kathy) Brandon, Sr., Mary Durbin, Donald (Rita) Brandon, Bill Brandon and Robert (Karen) Brandon; sister in law Sharon Brandon; and many nieces and nephews. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jean Humble, sister Peggy Sherfey and brother Ralph Brandon.
