Sue was born October 20 1944, to Elmer and Darlene (Dvorak) Brundies in Davenport Iowa.
Sue married Clifford Russell May 22nd, 1965.
Together Sue and Clifford raised their four children, Nancy, Richard, Christopher and Cathleen. Sue worked as a hairstylist at Turnstyle and later for General Electric.
Sue was a kind, gentle and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother; who saw the best in everyone. Sue persevered with grace and strength following the deaths of her son-in-law Steve and daughter Nancy; and played an integral role in the raising of their 3 children.
Sue loved Chanel No 5, Johnny Mathis, Neil Diamond, day trips and camping with her family. She also cherished trips to Von Maur with Cathy, watching her beloved Cubs with Chris and her morning coffee with Rich. Sue often spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren with “just because” gifts, and took great pride in watching them play and grow. Sue delighted in demanding “more snaps please” of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those left to honor Sue’s memory include her children; Richard (Teresa) Russell, Christopher Russell, and Cathleen Parker (Jerad); siblings, Bill (Margie), Steve (Michelle), Rob, Teri Brauer (Steve), Ron (Dana), Julie (Kate Guimbellot), Rick (Linda) and Jim (Marianne); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
