Carol Ann Supple was born on January 19, 1940 in Cascade, Iowa, a daughter of Raymond and Clara (Geary) Supple. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in 1958. Carol was united in marriage to Donald W. Corbin on July 9, 1960 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport. They have shared almost 63 years of marriage and memories together.
Carol worked for Northwest Bell before Don and her started a family. She took great joy in raising her four children. When they were out of the house, Carol went back to work as a sales associate at J.C. Penney and Hallmark and assisted with Happy Day Preschool.
The three most important things in Carol’s life were her faith, family, and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and previously St. Anthony’s parish. She was involved in many weekly and monthly card and lunch groups and would “occasionally” take on the slot machines at the local casinos.
Survivors include her husband, Don, Davenport; children and their spouses: Debbie (Jeff) Carstens, Blue Grass, Jim (Andrea) Corbin, Durant, Bob (Marianne) Corbin, Davenport, Bill (Sara) Corbin, Aurora, Illinois; grandchildren: Kevin (Laci) Carstens, Justin (Jennifer) Carstens, Nate (Amy) Carstens, Sean (Jill) Carstens, Alexandra (Greg) Bauer, Mackenzie (Ben) Mosbach, Griffin Corbin, Kyle Corbin, Melissa (Scott) Simatovich, Ryan Corbin, Allison (Nate) Germundson, Thomas Corbin, Bailey Corbin, Garrett Corbin, and Reece Corbin; twenty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Ken) Sheldon, Moline, and brothers-in-law, Jack and Ron (Helen) Corbin.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Frank Stuhr. May they rest in peace.
