Bronson Shoultz

February 7, 2005 — November 15, 2024

Bronson passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 15 in Davenport, Iowa. Tragically, like way too many young adults today, he took one pill thinking it would be ok and it was lethal. A life cut senselessly short.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm, Friday, November 22, 2024 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Bronson was the kind-hearted son born to Lukas Shoultz and Angela Ryan in Davenport, Iowa. He was an amazing little brother and best bud to his big sis, Jordan Ryan. Bronson was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. Bronson was gifted from the start and his teachers always said great things about his academics and the way he treated others. He was guided by a gentle spirit and an easy smile. Bronson was loved by many. Anyone who has crossed paths with Bronson knows he was always quick to encourage those around him and just an all-around good guy.

Bronson graduated from Davenport Central High School in 2023 and had plans to enter into an HVAC apprenticeship in the spring of 2025. He was most recently employed by FedEx and Amazon and had previously worked at Walmart.

Undoubtedly, one of Bronson’s favorite pastimes was sports. Bronson was an avid sports fan and played sports throughout his life. On the weekends, you could find Bronson watching all the football games; Bronson loved texting with his family and placing bets on who would win the game.

Bronson is survived by his mother, Angela Ryan of Davenport, his father Lukas Shoultz of Marietta, Georgia, step-mother Emily Ericson of Cumming Georgia, sister Jordan Ryan (Aiden Heidgerken) of Davenport, sister Mollie Hack (Joshua) of Harlan, Iowa, brother Aaron Stueve (Jenni) of Audubon, Iowa, grandmothers Patricia Parris of Rock Island, Illinois and Ann Shoultz of Riverdale, Iowa, grandfather Russell Musal of Davenport, Iowa, step-grandparents Phil and Sharon Ericson, aunts Tricia Ryan (Jeff Hilligoss) of Davenport, Iowa, Stephanie Meyer (Ed) of Marietta, Georgia, uncle Donnie Parris of Davenport, Iowa, cousins Kayla, Jenna, Ella, and Brooks, and nieces and nephews Freyja, Ivar, Amelia, Rosalie, and Ellie.

Bronson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Shoultz.
