Bradley Vaught

Bradley C. Vaught, 56, a resident of Davenport, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at Accordius Health at St. Mary’s in Davenport.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at West Lake Park in Davenport. Burial was held at Fairmount Cemetery in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brad was born December 1, 1961 in Davenport, the son of Richard and Nancy (Thompson) Vaught. He attended Durant High School. Brad worked for JBL Manufacturing. He loved playing his guitar, and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, riding his Harley, and the Chicago Bears.

Those left to honor his memory include his loving best friend, Jan Carter of Davenport; siblings, Monica Freeborn of Wapello, Iowa, Brian (Heather Dutton) Vaught of Davenport, and Jennifer (David) Vaught-Massingill of Stockton, Iowa; nephews, Ryan Vaught, Anthony Vaught, and Matthew Freeborn; nieces, Kelly Baker and Krista Dwyer; and a grandson, Cody Trask.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents.

Brad’s family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Hospice Compassus for the love and care they gave him in his final days.
