Bradley Childers

Graveside Services for Bradley A. Childers, 60, a resident of Davenport, will be 2:30pm Friday, September 27, 2019 in Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Bradley passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Mary’s Nursing Home, Davenport.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bradley Allen Childers was born September 21, 1959 in Dubuque, Iowa, a son of William and Blossom Grace (Thornton) Childers.  He worked as an assembler at International Harvester and was married to Roxanne Childers.  She preceded him in death October 2017.

Bradley was very athletic in high school and was involved in football, wrestling and weight lifting.  He was a proud member of the Santee Sioux Nation.

Those left to honor Bradley’s memory include his children:  Margaret March, Davenport and Brandon Nelson, Eugene, Oregon and siblings:  William Childers and Darryl Childers, both of Davenport, Robert (Dianna) Childers, LeClaire, Iowa and Denise Ortiz, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Roxanne, sister, Diane and nephew, Terry.
