Brad Early

Brad Early, 61, of Davenport, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Genesis East, Davenport.  Keeping with his wishes, private family services will be held and cremation rites will take place.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Bradley Robert Early was born on February 20, 1963 in Davenport, a son of Julia “Julie” (Sweeney) and Richard R. Early.  He graduated from West High School.  Brad worked for John Deere for many years and currently was driving truck for Gray Transportation.

Brad was united in marriage to Trina (Wagner) George on August 4, 2012.

Brad was brutally honest and wouldn’t mince words when telling you how it was.  He was a fan of the black and gold; the Steelers, Pirates, and Hawkeyes. Brad enjoyed snowmobiling, a “casual” drink and adored his German Shepard, Bo. He was always the first one to reach out to his family on holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Trina, Davenport; children: Alison (Craig) Carroll, Ankeny, Lindsay (Barton) Bartling, Columbus, Nebraska, Benjamin (Ashley) Early, Ankeny, and Trenton Wagner, Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren: Max, Lucas, and Bryce Carroll, Jackson and Barrett Bartling, Brooks and Harrison Early, and Lennon and Demi Wagner; his mother and step-father, Julie (Kent) Williams, Bettendorf, brother, Brent Early, North Carolina, a sister-in-law, Lisa Early, Birmingham, Alabama; step-mother, Tudy Jordan, Davenport; step-brothers, Tim and Chris Lindell, Greg and Mitch Williams, Davenport, and many nieces, nephews, and extended Wagner family.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Blair Early.
