Billy Peet Richards

Billy Peet Richards, 66, a resident of Davenport, died Saturday, July 16, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing Facility in Davenport.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Billy was born December 2, 1955 in Davenport, the son of Ira F. and Bonnie (Jacobs) Richards. Billy served his country in the United States Marines Corps from 1972-1973. He worked in the Public Works department for the City of Davenport. Billy enjoyed visiting the casinos.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Andrew (Cheryl) Richards of East Moline; brothers, Ira (Mary) Richards of Davenport, Harold (Sharon) Richards of Florida, and Bobby Richards of Oregon, Illinois; sister, Williadean (Charlie) Ineichen of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
