Beth De La Rosa

Beth De La Rosa, 67, of Davenport, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at her home.  Keeping with her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and the family will have private services.

Mari Beth Haumesser was born on March 26, 1952 in Rock Island, Illinois, a daughter of Joseph G. and Eleanora J. (Hoener) Haumesser.  She was united in marriage to Roy De La Rosa on November 26, 1999 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 2007.

Beth had worked for many years as a para-legal in the Quad Cities and Wisconsin.  Locally, she had worked in attorney Doug McDonald’s office in Rock Island.  Beth had also worked at Walmart before retiring in 2015.

Beth had a great devotion and love of dogs.  She enjoyed running her Facebook group De La Rosa Crew and Friends, a group that facilitated the sale of dog paraphernalia and sharing the love and devotion to dogs.  Beth also enjoyed her birds and the Minnesota Vikings.

Among survivors are her children: Brooke (Jim) Skelley and Shane Dominque, all of Davenport; grandchildren: Brittany (Joey) Kensinger, Austin (Brittany) Koutsky, Kevin, Julie, Deja, and Chava Dominque; a great-grandchild Adalynn Grace; and a sister, Judy (Kenneth “Tom”) Hurlbut, Davenport.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
