Benjamin D. Elmer

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Benjamin D. Elmer, 34, of Bettendorf, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf.  Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.   Memorials may be made to Night to Shine – Tim Tebow Foundation or Kings Harvest Pet Rescue.

Benjamin Daniel Elmer was born November 14, 1989, Evanston, Illinois, a son of Scott and Debra (Byrne) Elmer, Sr.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in architectural studies from the University of Colorado – Denver and had worked for the Rock Island Arsenal, Legat Architects, and most recently Stanley Consultants.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, listening to music, and was an advocate for helping others.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents Scott and Debra Elmer, Sr. of Bettendorf; brother, Scott (Susie) Elmer, Jr. of Centennial, Colorado; and nieces and nephews: Athanasius, Jubilee, Judah, Makaria, and Cabrini.
