Barbara West

Barbara K. (Stoefen) West, age 76, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on July 18, 2022. Services were in Phoenix where she had resided for many years.

Barbara was born on August 3, 1944, in Maysville. She graduated from North Scott High School in 1962. Barbara then graduated from Coe College Nursing College with a BA in nursing. She moved to Chicago and then later to Phoenix working with Dr. Sabanas-Wells for over 40 years.

Barbara married Warren West on January 16, 1985, and they resided in Phoenix, AZ. They enjoyed world travels and cruises. The couple also spent a lot of time in church with the get togethers and bible study. They also enjoyed their cats, Sunny and Buffy.

Barbara became wheel-chair bound after a spinal stroke and passed away from medical complications. At the time of her death she was survived by a brother, Aaron “Rick” Stoefen.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Warren in 2011.
