Apolinar "Paul" Jimenez

Apolinar “Paul” Jimenez, 92, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. A private burial will take place in the National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities or St Anthony’s Catholic Church food kitchen.

Paul was born on September 7, 1932, son of Agapito and Georgia Jimenez. He was united in marriage to Patricia Garvey in 1959.

Paul proudly served his country in the Air Force, where he was an airplane mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent countless hours fixing cars, appliances, home repairs for all of his friends and family.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Patricia; daughters, Pamela Ferguson (Jon), Paulette Ong (Pam), son in law Marc Campbell, and son, Tim Jimenez (Sheila), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul, and daughter, Ramona.
