Anthony Armas

Anthony Michael “Tony” Armas, 20 a resident of Davenport, died December 13, 2018.

A memorial gathering celebrating his life will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Tony was born February 28, 1998 in Davenport, the son of Julie (Boyles) Armas and Victor Armas.

Tony enjoyed skateboarding, music, and video games. He was a fierce political debater who wasn’t afraid of withholding his opinion of President Trump. Tony and his family loved to laugh. He cherished his time spent playing with his son, Toby and niece, Cambria.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Tobias “Toby”; parents, Julie Armas of Davenport, and Victor Armas of Colorado; sister, Victoria (Michael Poggenpohl) Armas of Davenport; half-brother, Richard Armas of Colorado; grandparents, Michael and Carole Boyles of Davenport; niece, Cambria; favorite cousin, Saul Boyles; special friend, Sarah Rich; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tony was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandmother, Virginia “Gina” Wilkinson.
