Angela Michelle Sutton

Memorial services celebrating the life of Angie Sutton, 46, of Davenport, will be held at noon on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The rite of cremation has been accorded, and inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be 11am until time of services.

Ms. Sutton tragically passed away along with her special love Corey Pollard, on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Davenport, from injuries received when their home caught fire.

Angela Michelle Sutton was born October 7, 1978, in Rock Island, a daughter of Essie Sutton and Jack Smith.

Angie loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and babysitting her nieces and nephews. Life threw many challenges at her, but she always held her head high and was able to keep others smiling, even in the face of adversity. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. As a child she was loving and quick to make up if she got into an argument with her siblings.

Those left to honor her memory include her son Eric Flowers; mother Essie Sutton; father Jack (Karla) Smith; sisters Lisa Hicks-Sutton, Tara (Ben) Tamka, Jackie (Anthony) Sutton; brothers Joseph (Jessica) Sutton, Jonathan Sutton; sister-in-law Angela Hess; 27 loving nieces and nephews; foster family Tiffany Floyd, LC Moore, Courtney Shay, and Diane Edwards .

She was preceded in death by her daughter Isabella Pollard on February 23, 2020, and brother Joshua Sutton on April 7, 2024.
