Angela Carrol

Angela Lashon Carrol, age 52, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 am until service time.

Angela was born on November, 1, 1970 in Chicago, the daughter of Emma (Dorsey) Carrol and McKinley Carrol. She was educated in the Chicago Publice School System and graduated from Everest Community College in 2009. Angela worked at various jobs in the Chicagoland area, but had a lot of love for her role at Spin Cycle. Angela enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and had a passion for crocheting.

She leaves to continue her legacy, three daughters, Sade Samuel, Kyasia Carrol, and Amari Samuel; 4 granddaughters, Emmani (Cookie), Ivy, Nevaeh, Azarlah, and a little prince on the way; goddaughter, Felicia Smith; brothers, Kenneth (Dana Jones) Carrol, and Arnold McLemore; a sister, Kimberly Carrol; a bonus sister, Shantia Taylor; favorite cousins, Wenna and Jamuel; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
