Funeral services celebrating the life of Andrew “Andy” Marshall, 69, of Maysville, will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The rite of cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 10 am until time of services. 

Mr. Marshall passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his home.

Andy was born April 28, 1955, in Glasgow, Scotland, a son of Elizabeth Marshall. He was united in marriage to Sharon Low in 1996 and she preceded him in death in 2009.

Andy worked for VSI and did janitorial work at John Deere. He loved his job and coworkers.

He loved to go fishing, cheering for the New Orleans Saints, sitting around a bonfire roasting brats, and spending time with his adoptive family who he cherished deeply.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings Margaret, Mary, and Alexander McGaw of Scotland; adoptive family members Mike and Karla Harvey of Maysville; Brandon (Maria) Harvey and their children Hugh, Leo, and Briggs; Jacob (Emily Kelly) Olson; Addison (Braydon Marquette) Olson and their daughter Mae; and Duane Harvey.

In addition to his wife Sharon, he was preceded in death by his mother.
